Demon Slayer Season Season 4 : The Hashira Training Arc Scheduled for 2024

 

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko are all part of the Swordsmith Village arcs, though Zenitsu and Inosuke seem to be sitting more on the sidelines this season. 

They will be joined by two characters that we have already seen in the series: Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanoji. Kotetsu is a new face and was seen training Tanjiro.

 Prominent Upper Moons include Kokushibo, Hantengu, and Gyokko, the latter two of which are heavily the villains of the Swordsmith Village arc. They are accompanied - at least in the first episode of the season - by Akaza, Doma, Nakime and their leader, Muzan Kibutsuji.

After the exciting ending of Demon Slayer Season 3, fans are already excited about the future of Season 4. The Swordsmith Village arc gave viewers  a much-needed positive win and reinforced Tanjiro Kamado's steadfast humanity. Now we delve into what to expect from the  anticipated fourth season.

Shortly after the end of the third season, the anime wasted no time in announcing that the series will continue with a 4th season. Although the exact release date has not been confirmed yet, it is expected to hit the screens  in 2024. This news is not surprising given the immense popularity and success of the franchise. 

The fourth season will adapt the Hashira training arc, the central story of the original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. With nine chapters involved, it's likely that this arc will be animated relatively quickly. However, given the past pattern of covering multiple arcs in one season, it's possible that the season could also include the start of the Endgame arc. 

 

 The recently released Season 4 teaser showed some great footage of the rest of the Hashiros, confirming the focus on Hashira's training arc. As fans wait for the new season, they can expect familiar actors to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and maintaining a connection to previous seasons. 

 While it seems unlikely that Tanjiro and his companions will encounter major villains at the start of Season 4, they will have potential conflicts  during their training. The strained relationship between Tanjiro and Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa from the past encounter may reappear and cause tension and challenges for our protagonist

 

  Additionally, fans can see Genya trying to reconcile with her brother Sanemi, causing personality clashes and unresolved issues. Due to the relatively short length of Hashira's training arc, Season 4 can also reach the early stages of the final battle arc, introducing formidable enemies such as Kibutsuji's Muzan and the Upper Moon Demons.  As the events of Hashira's training unfold, the first episode of Season 4 is expected to set the stage for future challenges. Viewers will be able to see the demon slayers recover from their recent battles and plan their strategies to defeat Kibutsuji Muza and his demonic powers. In particular, Nezuko's unique abilities and her new immunity to sunlight  play an important role in the final battle, leaving the demon slayers amazed and intrigued.
